FireWeb Refresh Project Update

FireWeb's Information module has been moved!

It now lives in Fireweb Refresh as the FFMVic Library. Please use your FireWeb username and password to log in

What does this mean?

Documents are now available in the FFMVic Library.

If go to  FireWeb | Information you will see a link redirecting you to the FFMVic Portal. You will need to log in to the FFMVic Portal using your FireWeb username and password.

For now:
To have documents added to the new FFMVic Library please contact FFM Support.

Soon: You’ll be able to manage and approve document additions to the FFMVic Library yourself - keep your eyes peeled for this feature in an upcoming release!

What about all my existing links?!

Fear not – they’ll continue to work.

We'll slowly be transitioning hyperlinks so they point to the new FFMVic Portal.

Introducing the FFMVic Library

The FFMVic Library is one of the first, production-ready components of the Fireweb Refresh project.

It contains exactly the same documents as FireWeb’s Information module (i.e. you’ve lost nothing), and features an experimental Advanced Search feature that:

  • let’s you search the content of every document (bear with us as we fine tune the speed of this new feature!), and
  • displays context snippets in the style of Google search results (so you can be sure you're accessing the right document, each and every time).

Its design and layout also embraces our 'mobile first' ethos so users of tablets and smart phones will have a great experience; even from the field.

FireWeb’s Information module has been the repository for Fire, Operations and Training documentation, and certain forms and links, since around 2000.

As part of the Fireweb Refresh project, we want to hand document management abilities to our users (rather than having to make requests via FFM Support).

How can I provide feedback?!
